Begin a new career as Wedding Planner / Event Planner! This double certificate program provides a solid foundation for individuals looking to get started in the industry right away. Discover how to plan, coordinate & direct weddings and special events: signature wedding styles, wedding day etiquette, music selection, preparing contracts, working with vendors and prospective brides and grooms. Course also includes planning the wedding reception: venue choice, seating charts, the band, the bar, using proven techniques and tools for gathering, contracting, and overseeing the process. Students will gain the framework necessary to plan most any type of wedding event and increase their understanding of the business structure and documentation process. Student must complete all class projects to receive both certificates in Wedding Planning and Event Planning.
